1. Lack Of Purpose
The or junction of failure is life without a clear definition. To buttress my point biblically with Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he. This verse in the Bible reveals that the beginning of every successful enterprise, marriage, relationship or anything worth embarking on needs a clear definition. The beginning of every success is believed to be faith, when there is certainty of what is to be achieved in the mind. With faith we believe that everything in the world was framed by the word of God, where there is no original intent of the mind defined, there cannot be any success. One of the reasons you have failed is that you have not clearly defined purpose for your life: business, marriage, relationships, family etc.
2. Lack Of Light
The second thing that could be the reason for your failure is the light you shed in your life, remember the light here is knowledge. The man who walks in darkness does not know where he goes, this is the word of the Lord Jesus Christ, embarking on anything in this life demands a depths of knowledge which is the light, going into business without having enough knowledge of business is walking in darkness, Getting into marriage without proper counseling is waking in darkness, anything a man desires to have achieved without starting with the right kind of knowledge is just an element of failure. Dream big though, but have the right kind of knowledge to shed light in your actions towards your dream. Joh 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
3. Lack Of Focus
One of the traps of failure is inability for one to maintain his confession and focus on a project of what he believes for a long time; many people have failed on their beautiful dreams because of lack of concentration or focus. Focus is when one push up one project for a long time until it succeeds without turning to something else or being disturbed by anything. Every good dream has negative energies around them; every good business proposal is bound to face opposition from financial difficulties, different thoughts from friends or other people, false commentators in every area of their lives. Focus is the most powerful tool to overcome this challenge.
4. Fear
The fear of failure itself is one of the traps of failure that causes delay in a man’s life, many people are afraid to bring themselves into light such as to market their dreams to people they feel timid to approach. Many people have buried what they believe because of fear. The Bible reveals that behind the New city of the Lord are the cowards, which means even the fearful cannot enter into the kingdom of God let alone to excel in anything. You are at the bottom until you overcome your fears.
5. Procrastination
The preacher Solomon said in the ecclesiasts 3 about timing and seasons: your skills today may not be useful tomorrow, if you know something today that is winning and you delay by bringing it to light, a time will come when that skills or gift of yours will not be in need. A new king who knew nothing about Joseph arose and the people of Israel were in need of a deliverer because they had not prepared for such a time. Many people are trapped by inability to know the time for proposal delivery, business plan execution, selling of gift to the world. Now is the time of Salvation!
6. Lack of discipline (Self Control)
Gen 49:3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellence of dignity, and the excellence of power: Gen 49:4 Unstable as water, thou shall not excel; because thou went up to thy father's bed; then defiled thou it: he went up to my couch. This is a revelation from Jacob when he was telling about what will happen to his children in the future, he said to his First born Reuben the reason he will not succeed or excel and that is simple, you are not emotionally discipline because you are unstable as water: this projects an array of emotional instability of people who wants to achieve their dream. Quick emotional switches are a problem to every business. Your anger is a trap to the growth of your business, marriage, relationship, family building and what ever you dream to build. Too much sexual intercourse will always hinder the excellence of life; every abnormal switching of mood is an issue to success.
7. Lack Of Support
No matter how equipped someone may be in this world, he may need a support from someone, business needs sponsorships, friends need encouragement, children need support from parents and that is befitting in this life: when people seek support from their family, friends, companies and find none , the person or business likely to be trapped by failure. In the light of this that people are advised to associate with others who can offer help in times of need but any decision on the contrary to this will get the person trapped by Failure.
